Scouting Report

SIZE:
Jayce has very good size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 5’11” 175 lbs. He’s a quick hitting QB who wastes very little time getting the ball out. Quick first step, able to set up in a hurry. Very good fottwork within the pocket as he works to create added space.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, showing excellent ball placement. Works well with his receivers as he waits patiently for their breaks. Consistent delivery which ups his accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
Displays a strong delivery at short and intermediate range. Good zip on the ball, including a tight spiral. He can spread the field with long bombs made downfield.
RELEASE:
Jayce is a left-handed QB who throws with a full extension, the ball comes from over the top with a high release point. He gets the ball out in a hurry.
THROW ON RUN:
Jayce does an excellent job getting to the outside while making plays downfield. Squares up with his target as he delivers with strong forward momentum upon release.
FOOTWORK:
He shows very good mobility in all directions. Not classified as a Dual Threat but can dangerous out in the open field.
POISE:
In full control of the offense, he has a take charge mentality when on the field. Very good leadership skills on the field. Not easily distracted.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Jayce has a feel for the space around him. He’s able to work around traffic while still focusing his eyes downfield.
DECISION MAKING:
An intelligent QB who makes plays of high percentage completion. Strong confidence in his receivers, trusting in their ability to make a play on the ball.
TOUCH:
A strong throwing QB who does a nice job easing off the velocity of his delivery for added touch.
