Scouting Report

SIZE:
Jayden has excellent size for a 2021 Dual Threat QB at 6’5” 200 lbs. A tall presence in the pocket. Plays well above the level of competition. A strong running QB who’s takes on would-be tacklers for added yards. This QB is raw with unlimited potential.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with sharp precision, hitting his targets in stride. Very good at following routes and anticipating location.
ARM STRENGTH:
Jayden throws darts all over the field. He a sniper, making big plays over the middle, hitting his target with high velocity throws. Able to extend the field with his deep passes, getting them over the top.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery with a three quarter extension. Very good footwork on his dropbacks and set ups. With more consistency, he'll be able to add to his accuracy.
THROW ON RUN:
For his size, he’s very dangerous out in the open field. Able to get to the outside with good speed and mobility. Does a nice job turning it up as he squares up to his target.
FOOTWORK:
Jayden’s a very athletic QB who serves as a Dual Threat because of his quickness and elusiveness. Very difficult to contain within the backfield, good agility and escapability.
POISE:
He displays play making ability on the field. With his athleticism, he’s able to improvise while on the go. Good awareness of the pressure around his, as well as space. Very confident in his abilities as a QB.Good patience as he waits for his receivers to break on their routes. Once he gets flushed out of the pocket, he stays with the play, throw before run.
DECISION MAKING:
Jayden has the potential to be a complete QB, he’s able make plays in the pocket as well as out in the open field. He will need to harness all of that while making smart decisions. He’s very decisive with his throws and tries to avoid tight coverage situation.
TOUCH:
This is an area he'll continue to work and improve on. Creating a softer delivery at short and intermediate range. Tight trajectory at longer distance.
