SIZE:
Jaylon has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 170 lbs. This QB has the potential of becoming a legit dual threat. He works fluidly from a pocket passer to a QB on the go. Displays good arm strength with long throws made downfield.
ACCURACY:
When given the time and space to set up, Jaylon's accuracy goes way up. He nails it at short and intermediate range with sharp precision passing. His deep passes include a tight trajectory. Very good ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
Many weapons to his arsenal. He can fire in high velocity throws within tight windows of space or he can ease up for a softer delivery. Able to generate momentum with a full extension, giving his throws longer range.
THROW ON RUN:
Excellent mobility getting to the outside of the pocket. Has a quick first step and along with a longer stride getting to the outside. Good vison downfield while squaring up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
A super athletic QB who can hurt a defense while on the go. Not only does he show good mobility but he can also throw.
POISE:
With more training along with added high school reps, he'll continue to feed his game. Very confident in his abilities, just needs the chance to show what he can do.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility within the pocket. A good sense of the space around him with the ability to avoid traffic and improvise while on the run.
DECISION MAKING:
An intelligent QB who understands the game. He does a nice job working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
He works best when having to adjust the velocity of his throws. A sweet touch pass on fade routes and can also sneak one in between zone coverage.
