SIZE:
Jerry has very good size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 6'2" 190 lbs. He stands tall in the pocket, seeking out big play opportunities. Shows good toughness while being able to sit in the pocket with good patience or can maneuver around for added space.
ACCURACY:
He gives his receivers the ability to make a play on the ball. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Solid footwork prior to setup, adding to his accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
Able to reach all areas of the field with strong forward momentum. He can fire the ball into tight windows of space or let it fly over defensive coverage. Tight trajectory of throws made at long range.
RELEASE:
Jerry throws with an over the top delivery. A fully extended arm motion, while getting the ball across quickly. He delivers darts throughout the field, giving the defense minimal time to react.
THROW ON RUN:
Most comfortable in the pocket but can also get to the outside with good mobility. Displays good vision downfield while on the run. Solid body rotation, strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
His steps are sharp and his movement is smooth. Able to create space within the pocket.
POISE:
Extremely confident in his abilities as a QB. He controls the pace of a game and can turn it up at any moment, a playmaker.
DECISION MAKING:
Very decisive with his throws downfield, wasting very little time getting the ball off. Displays a calm aggressiveness while attacking the defense. Takes chances downfield when he sees an opportunity, trusting in his receivers.
Touch:
He does a great job adjusting the velocity of his passes. Can take something off on a fade route or fire it in between defenders. Able to add a softer touch when needed.
