SIZE:
Jesse has excellent size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’5” 208 lbs. A tall platform, able to oversee the entire field for potential targets. Delivers the ball with a fully extended arm motion, adding lift to his release. Will be able to add bulk onto his frame. His potential as a QB is unlimited.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with great timing and location, allowing for his receivers to make a play on it. A rhythmic QB who sets up properly prior to delivery. Consistency adds to his accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
He's able to hit in all areas of the field with solid arm strength. Strong throws at short and intermediate range. He can let it rip at short range or let it fly at long distances with tight trajectory.
RELEASE:
Jesse throws with an over the top delivery, coming with a fully extended arm motion. Well balanced stride on his dropbacks.
THROW ON RUN:
Shows good mobility as he works to the outside, able to square up with his receivers. Good movement for a QB of his size, very agile.
FOOTWORK:
Solid footwork on his drop backs, showing good stride and balance. Good agility in and around the pocket, creating added space for himself. Jesse impresses out in the open field with good speed and elusiveness.
POISE:
Shows good patience in the backfield, waiting for the play to fully develop prior to taking the hit. He shows good awareness of defensive pressure, able to step up in the pocket.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very calm under pressure. There is no distance that he can’t hit on.
DECISION MAKING:
Jesse works well through his progressions, from primary to secondary outlets. Very good read on the defense as he hits on his primary target.
TOUCH:
Soft delivery at every level. He’s able to adjust the velocity of his throws when the passing situation calls for it.
