SIZE:
Jesse has excellent size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’4” 180 lbs. A very tall presence in the backfield, able to oversee the entire field for potential targets. He throws with a fully extended arm release, able to add even more height to his throws. Very good agility within the pocket, especially for a QB of his size. His potential as a QB is unlimited.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with great timing and location, allowing for his receivers to make a play on it. Would be able to add on his accuracy with better footing prior to set up.
ARM STRENGTH:
He's able to hit in all areas of the field with solid arm strength. Strong throws at short and intermediate range. He can let it rip at short range or let it fly at long distances with tight trajectory.
RELEASE:
Jesse throws with an over the top delivery, coming with a fully extended arm motion. Very good footwork on drop backs, can work to improve footing on set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
Shows good mobility as he works to the outside, able to square up with his receivers. Good movement for a QB of his size, very agile.
FOOTWORK:
Solid footwork on his drop backs, showing good stride and balance. Good agility in and around the pocket, creating added space for himself. Jesse impresses out in the open field with good speed and elusiveness.
POISE:
Shows good patience in the backfield, waiting for the play to fully develop prior to taking the hit. He shows good awareness of defensive pressure, able to step up in the pocket.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Throws with a tall platform, able to survey the entire field for potential targets. There is no distance that he can’t hit on.
DECISION MAKING:
Jesse does a nice job working through his progressions, from primary to secondary outlets. Very good read on the defense as he hits on his primary target.
TOUCH:
Very good touch at every level. He’s able to adjust the velocity of his throws when the passing situation calls for it.
