SIZE:
Jett has very good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 185 lbs. A tall lengthy QB who likes to air it out. Works well to create added space in the pocket for clear passing lanes. Will be able to add bulk onto his frame without losing much on agility.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers routes with very good ball placement. Great feel and read on his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Jett loves going over the top while delivering long bombs downfield. High velocity throws make at short/intermediate range. His vertical game is solid, able to stretch the field with deep throws made over coverage.
RELEASE:
Zak has an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. He does a nice job adjusting the angle of his delivery when space is limited.
THROW ON RUN:
Shows good athleticism while getting to the outside. Squaring up with his receivers, while hitting his targets on the go.
FOOTWORK:
He’s a long stride running QB who can pick up yards in a hurry. Shows good mobility and balance while on the run. Well balanced stride on his dropbacks.
POISE:
Jett does a great job leading his offensive unit. A manger on the field who follows through on the play call.Nice work avoiding incoming pressure, able to set up in the pocket, while creating space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
This is an area of strength for Jett, he’s able to work through his progressions, going from his primary to secondary outlets. Very decisive in his delivery.
TOUCH:
He’s able to take something off his throws, creating a softer touch when needed. Easing it in on a fade.
