SIZE:
Joel has very good size for a 2026 Pro Style QB at 6'3" 190 lbs. He shows good agility within the backfield, fluid mobility in either direction. High release point, adding height to his delivery.
ACCURACY:
His throws are on target to his receivers, showing good timing and anticipation of their routes. Throws a catchable ball with a tight spiral.
ARM STRENGTH:
Throws made with high velocity. Solid vertical passing game with throws made of tight trajectory.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Solid footwork on his drop backs and set ups. Sound throwing mechanics as well as consistency on his delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Good speed and quickness to the outside. Would like to see better ball positioning and stronger momentum on his release. Squares up nicely with his intended target.
FOOTWORK:
A tall lengthy QB who's a long stride running QB. He displays good speed and vision while on the run. His running game makes for an added compliment to his passing game. Will serve as a legit dual threat QB.
POISE:
With more playing time at the position, Joel will continue to gain confidence in his abilities as a QB.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very comfortable in the pocket, able to see the entire field. With the ability to throw or run on any given play, this spells bad news for defenses.
DECISION MAKING:
Has improved on his smart game while working in 7v7 competition. A quick release, getting the ball off quickly. Very decisive.
TOUCH:
This is an area of skills for Joel. Displays a soft touch at short and intermediate range.
