SIZE:
John has excellent size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6'2" 206 lbs. He’s a very durable QB who shows good patience in the pocket as he waits for the play to develop. Good agility and lateral movement within the backfield. A strong running QB, who can be used on short yardage situations.
ACCURACY:
This is an area of strength for John. He throws with sharp precision, tight spiral delivery which are in-line with his receivers. Good anticipation of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
A strong throwing QB with unlimited range and accuracy. He can let it rip, making throws of high velocity or ease up for a softer delivery.
RELEASE:
A classic over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Adding a high release point, which increases the height of his throws.
THROW ON RUN:
John doesn’t lose much on accuracy while he’s on the run. He shows good forward momentum and consistency while maintaining his focus in his target.
FOOTWORK:
For a QB of John’s size, he’s very agile and displays a quickness in step. Shows good mobility within the pocket, fluid movement in all directions.
POISE:
John’s all business on the field, he shows strong confidence in his abilities as a QB, and trusts in his accuracy. Able to pick up on defensive pressure, stepping up in the pocket. Leads the #4 team in the country.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Shows good awareness of the space around him. Remains focused on the play, displaying good patience.
DECISION MAKING:
Very intelligent QB who does a nice job working through his progressions, going from his primary to secondary outlets. Attacks the defense, taking advantage of holes within coverage.
TOUCH:
A strong throwing QB who can also make the right adjustments on his velocity for a softer delivery.
