SIZE:
Jonah has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6'1" 170 lbs. He's a versatile QB who can play many roles. Very good speed and quickness on the run. Continues to improve on his game as a pocket passer.
ACCURACY:
He’s perfecting his craft with training and the results are there. His throws are on target with his receivers, hitting them in-line whether he’s stationary or on the run. Loses a bit of accuracy at longer distances.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s added a tight spin on the ball, snapping the ball off his wrist. Very good velocity with rotational momentum. Able to get the ball to his intended target in a hurry. Would like to see an arm motion at full extesnion for added strength.
:RELEASE:
Jonah has worked hard on his throwing mechanics and it shows on his training highlights. He has an over the top delivery with a high release point. Starts from a three quarter extension. Good footowork on his dop backs and set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who gets to the outside with good quickness. He’s a long stride runner, able to pick chunks of yards while on the go. Good body rotation while getting locked in on his target.
FOOTWORK:
I see Jonah perfecting his skills as a Dual Threat over time, combining his improved throwing ability with his potential as a true Dual Threat. An athletic QB who shows good lateral movement and quickness.
POISE:
He continues to gain more confidence in his abilities as a QB, trusting in his skills.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very agile in and around the pocket. He works well in eiher direction, showing good lateral movement.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s very decisive on his delivery, wasting very little time getting the ball off. With more game experience, he'll be able to make quick reads through his progressions.
TOUCH:
He does a nice job adjusting the velocity of his throws for a softer delivery. Can work to tighten up on the trajectory at longer range.
