SIZE:
Jonathan has good size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6'1" 185 lbs. He works well in the pocket as he surveys the field for potential targets.
ACCURACY:
He’s right on the money with his throws, it doesn’t matter if they’re made from within the pocket or from the outside. Very consistent throwing motion and footwork prior to setup.
ARM STRENGTH:
A strong throwing QB who can make all passes required of him. His short and intermediate passes include high velocity throws that get through the secondary in a hurry. Solid vertical passing game. Can add distance on his throws with a fully extended arm motion.
RELEASE:
He delivers the ball with an over the top release. Throws the ball with a three-quarter extension. Resulting in quick throws getting to his receivers in a hurry.
THROW ON RUN:
Does a nice job getting to the outside of the pocket as he remains focused downfield for potential targets. His throws include strong forward momentum as he fires the ball in the direction of his target.
FOOTWORK:
He works well around the backfield, with good mobility and agility. Not considered a Dual Threat but can take the ball in for short yardage gain.
POISE:
Jonathan displays good control of his offensive unit. Confident in his abilities as a QB, not afraid to be aggressive with his throws.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Shows good patience in the backfield, able to sit back and wait for the play to develop. He shows good awareness of the space around him.
DECISION MAKING:
A very intelligent QB who makes the right call based on the defensive scheme. Able to work through his receiver options, processing the information quickly.
TOUCH:
His throws include a soft touch and solid trajectory. Making the right adjustments to his velocity depending on the passing situation.
