Scouting Report

SIZE:
Jorris has very good size for a 2026 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 165 lbs. Very polished QB who understands the game. He works methodically as he picks apart a defense. Played varsity ball as an 8th grader.
ACCURACY:
He’s on the mark with his throws, setting up quickly in the pocket as he carefully surveys the field. Very good throwing mechanics which remain consistent at every level. Good anticipation of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Can hit in all areas of the field. With high velocity throws at short/intermediate range along with long bombs downfield over coverage. Tight trajectory with increased rotational spin.
THROW ON RUN:
Jorris is very comfortable as a pure pocket passer. He can work to the outside with good mobility if needed but he works best in the pocket where he can destroy a defense with his vision, strength and accuracy.
FOOTWORK:
Very good footwork on his dropbacks as well as his set ups. An athletic QB who shows good mobility.
POISE:
He’s extremely calm in the pocket, able to work through his progressions patiently. Strong confidence in his ability to lead his team downfield. Good feel of pressure, able to side step for added space.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Able to set up in a hurry while assessing coverage. Plays as if he's been at the varsity levels for years.
DECISION MAKING:
Very intelligent QB who works well through his progressions. Does a nice job seeking out his primary receivers and releasing the ball without hesitation. Plays with a controlled aggressiveness, allowing for his receivers to make a play on the ball.
TOUCH:
This is an area of strength for Jorris. He’s very good at adding a softer delivery to his throws, especially at long range. He can lay a soft toss in between zone coverage or fire it in with high velocity.
