SIZE:
Josh has good size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 195 lbs. An athletic QB who can hurt a defense in so many ways. A legit pocket passer with good vision and range. He's a sharp shooter, getting the ball off in a hurry.
ACCURACY:
He can hit on anywhere on the field. Whether it comes from on the run or in the pocket, he maintains his accuracy. Very good throwing mechanics and consistency.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can let it rip, making big throws at long range with tight trajectory. High velocity throws that get through the defense with dart like acceleration.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with an arm motion that comes from way back. He's able to gain momentum upon his delivery. Very good balance and footwork prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Josh works to the outside in a hurry, seeking out potential targets while getting there. Displays good mobility while on the go.
FOOTWORK:
While on the run, he’s very difficult to contain. Good vision downfield as he seeks out his target.
POISE:
Good awareness of incoming pressure, able to move away from traffic. Good patience in the pocket, waiting for his receivers' break.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He’s very comfortable in the pocket whether setting up for deliver or shifting to the outside for a quick hitter. Able to step up in the pocket or move laterally when needed.
DECISION MAKING:
Nice job working through his progressions while on the fly. He’s an intelligent QB who takes advantage of what the defense gives him. Very decisive with his throws.
TOUCH:
Very good touch in all areas of the field, short, intermediate and long. He’s skilled at taking something off the velocity of his throws when needed.
