Joshua stands in at 5'8" 150 lbs as a 2025 Dual Threat QB. Despite not having ideal size, his confidence and desire to win surpasses any doubts on whether or not he can compete. Always in attack mode while piercing the defense with strong throws.
ACCURACY:
High marks for Joshua. His throws are on time, displaying excellent ball location. Throws made on a rope with tight rotational spin.
ARM STRENGTH:
Strong throws made over the middle. Solid vertical passing game with throws made of further distance and efficient trajectory.
RELEASE:
A left handed passer. His throwing mechanics are consistent and very well put together. An over the top delivery, including a full extended arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Joshua's a proven pocket passer with the ability to take it to the outside with good mobility. Strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
An athletic QB who is also very competitive. He displays a quick first step and can turn it up when needed. Very good footwork within the pocket, moving quickly laterally as he works to create space.
POISE:
His play on the field ignites others around him to want to excel.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good patience while seeking out his targets downfield.
DECISION MAKING:
A very intelligent QB who works through his progressions with sound judgement. He’s very decisive when he sees a weakness within the defense. Striking while the irons hot.
TOUCH:
Able to adjust the velocity of his delivery for a softer touch when needed. Works well in between zone coverage.
