SIZE:
Jovan has good size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 5’9” 165 lbs. He’s a hard running QB who takes on would be tacklers with toughness. Very good vision downfield as he seeks out potential targets.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in line with his receivers. Able to connect with his targets while in stride displaying good ball placement
ARM STRENGTH:
Jovan shows good velocity on this throws, hitting his targets over the middle and in between zone coverage. He can hit all areas of the field with throws that get to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top release with a fully extended arm motion. Throws that come across quickly with strong forward momentum. Very good footwork prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Jovan's an athletic QB who can get to the outside in a hurry. Very fluid with his movement, allowing for an efficient stride. He’s on the mark while in motion, showing good forward momentum on his release.
FOOTWORK:
Shows good agility in and around the pocket. He’s dangerous while on the run, able to get down the field in a hurry, displaying good speed and toughness. Precise footing and spacing on his drop backs.
POISE:
Very comfortable in the pocket. Able to work quickly as he leads his team down field. Runs a 4.56 /40.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He does a nice job picking up defense pressure. Would like to see him remain in the pocket longer with added patience.Does a nice job going through his progressions, able to work from his primary receivers to his check downs.
TOUCH:
He's a strong passer who can also make the proper adjustments on the velocity of his throws to add a softer touch. Can work to improve on the trajectory of his deep passes.
