SIZE:
Julian has good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6'0" 170 lbs. He stands in the pocket with a tall platform, able to oversee the entire field. Uses all of his weapons while moving the ball downfield.
ACCURACY:
An accurate passer who displasy good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Sound throwing mechanics, delivering the ball in a consistent manner.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can attack a defense in many ways, whether it comes from a quick strike over the middle or a deep vertical throw on a pump fake. Good strength in arm with high velocity throws made at intermediate range.
RELEASE:
Julian has an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Gets the ball to his receivers in a hurry with increased acceleration. Very good footing on his set up. Strong throws made downfield.
THROW ON RUN:
Most comfortable in the pocket but can get to the outside with good speed and quickness. Doesn’t lose much in accuracy as while on the run.
FOOTWORK:
Not classified as a Dual Threat QB but can pick up yardage for short gains if needed. Good footwork on his dropbacks and set ups.
POISE:
Good feel for incoming pressure, able to step up or move laterally for added space. Very calm under pressure, stays focused on the play as he works through it.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Julian surveys the field for potential targets from his initial reads. A quick hitting QB. Good agility in and out of the pocket.
DECISION MAKING:
He works methodically as he picks apart a defense. Many weapons in his arsenal as he works through his progressions. A quick timer, able to get the ball off with good judgment.
TOUCH:
Julian's throws are made with a soft touch, able to adjust the velocity of his throws in certain passing situation. Has worked to improve on his long game, adding a tighter trajectory with limited drag.
