Scouting Report

SIZE:
Nathan has excellent size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 215 lbs. He stands out from the other players on the field because of his size. A tall presence in the backfield, able to survey the field with excellent vision. A tough running QB who takes on would-be tacklers.
ACCURACY:
His throws are very catchable with good placement. He puts it in for his receivers to make a play on it. Gets the ball out in a hurry, leaving the defense very little time to react. Very consistent delivery for added accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
Nathan makes his throws seem so effortless. Excellent arm strength, able to squeeze the ball within tight windows of space or can let it rip on the deep ball. Gets the ball to his receivers in a hurry with strong velocity.
RELEASE:
Has an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Able to generate strong momentum upon release. With his size and strength, Nathan's able to extend the field with a very effective vertical passing game.
THROW ON RUN:
He’s most comfortable within the pocket but shows good athleticism while out in the open field. Excellent vision downfield with the ability to locate a potential target.
FOOTWORK:
For a QB of his size, Nathan displays very good footwork. He does a nice job getting back from under center, good spacing on his steps with a side release. A north/south running QB.
POISE:
He works well with his offensive unit, using all of his receivers. Shows very good patience in the pocket while waiting for a play to develop.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Displays a good sense of the space around him, able to move around traffic, while creating added space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
Works well through his progressions with a quick assessment of coverage. Shows good patience and vision downfield.
TOUCH:
Displays tight trajectory on his deep passes with just enough air underneath. Able to adjust the velocity of his delivery for added touch.
