SIZE:
Kaylor has good size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 5'11" 165 lbs. Works well within the flow of the game. Fluid transition from a pocket passer to a dual threat. A true competitor who never gives up on a play.
ACCURACY:
He does a nice job getting the ball to his receivers. His throws are on target with good placement, allowing for the receiver to make a play on it.
ARM STRENGTH::
Kaylor can make any throw on the field. His passes are make with high velocity, but he can also take something off for a softer release. Solid vertical passing game, making throws up and over coverage.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a high release point. Able to give added height on his throws. A three quarter extension with a compact delivery. Would to see a fully extended arm motion for added strength.
THROW ON RUN:
Good quickness getting to the outside while still maintaining his focus downfield. Squares up with his target with strong delivery.
FOOTWORK:
Above average speed with good elusiveness and mobility. He can work to improve on his footwork within the pocket, creating sharper steps.
POISE:
Kaylor's a very confident QB who can work from a Pocket Passer to a Dual Threat quite easily. He’s comfortable in either role.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good agility within the pocket, able to break away from pressure. Lateral mobility in either direction.
DECISION MAKING:
Kaylor does a nice job picking up on his best option receiver. He can work to add to his game while working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Good adjustment to the velocity of his delivery for added touch when needed.
