Kingston has excellent size for a 2027 Dual Threat QB at 6'3" 202 lbs. A tall presence in the pocket, very durable. Plays well above the level of competition. With his size comes a strong arm. Able to extend the field with long throws downfield.
ACCURACY:
Whether in the pocket or on the run he remains consistent in his delivery. Works well the square up with his intended target. His throws are right on the mark, with good location and timing.
ARM STRENGTH:
Kingston's throws are made of high velocity and an accelerated arm motion. A strong armed QB who can let it rip to anywhere on the field. He can extend the field with a strong vertical passing game or thread the needle within tight windows of space. Tight trajectory at longer distances.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery and a fully extended arm extension. The ball comes off quickly, restricting the defense’s reaction time.
THROW ON RUN:
He can punish a defense with his ability to keep a play alive and work through his progressions. Keen ability to improvise on the go. A playmaker.
FOOTWORK:
Good mobility within the pocket able to work away from pressure. Well balanced on his dropbacks and set ups.
POISE:
He thrives on chaos and is very instinctive. Very calm while under pressure.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility in and around the pocket while seeking out a safe zone for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a nice job working through his options while surveying the field. Works well through his progressions, able to connect with his best option receiver.
TOUCH:
Does a nice job making the right adjustments to his delivery as he works to create a softer release.
