Knox has excellent size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6'3" 215 lbs. He’s a very durable QB with strong lower body. Very difficult to take down on his runs, showing good footwork and strength.
ACCURACY:
He displays very good throwing mechanics, making consistent throws that are in-line and on time.
ARM STRENGTH:
A strong armed QB who can hit at any range from inside the pocket. High velocity throws that get to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
Knox throws with an over the top delivery and a fully extended arm motion. Sound throwing mechanics as he works through his delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
For his size, a quick footed QB who can get to the outside with good speed and mobility. Displays solid rotation of his body as he squares up with his target.
FOOTWORK:
A very agile QB who can get out of trouble while still maintaining the play. Able to move in all directions with a quick first step. Good speed out in the open field.
POISE:
Knox has strong confidence in his abilities. He continues to improve as a QB, which will accelerate the developmental process. A true competitor who accepts challenges.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good sense of the pressure around him, able to set up or side step away from traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
Knox does a nice job locating his best option receiver. When the play's not there, he's able to improvise. Continues to add to his game with 7v7 play, working through progressions.
TOUCH:
Good blend of throwing variations. Able to adjust the velocity of his throws, from quick hitters to soft tosses over coverage.
