SIZE:
Kyle has excellent size for a 2023 Dual Threat QB at 6’4” 190 lbs. He’s a tall and lengthy QB who can fling the ball all over the field with his extend release. A tall throwing platform, able to see the entire field from within the pocket.
ACCURACY:
He’s able to get the ball to his receivers with good location and placement. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Loses a bit on accuracy at longer distances.
ARM STRENGTH:
Kyle displays good range, able to hit in all areas of the field. High velocity throws made at short and intermediate range.
RELEASE:
His throws come from a fully extended arm motion, as it comes from over the top generating momentum.
THROW ON RUN:
Most comfortable within the pocket. For his size, he shows good lateral movement, squaring up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
A pure pocket passer, works best when he’s able to step back and pick up on his best option receiver. Good agility within the backfield, able to escape the incoming pressure while maintaining the play.
POISE:
Has all of the right tools needed to become an elite QB. He'll continue to add to his skills set with more game experience.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Seeks out the weaknesses of a defense and exploits them. Good feel for the space around him.
DECISION MAKING:
Works well through his progressions, connecting with his best option receiver.
TOUCH:
Does a nice job adding a softer touch at short range. Can work to tighten up on trajectory at longer distances.
