SIZE:
LaMarques has very good size for a 2027 Dual Threat QB at 6'0" 175 lbs. Has all of the skills to be a legit threat to any defense. His throws include a fully extended release, allowing for added height to delivery. A playmaker on the field who's able to improvise on the go.
ACCURACY:
This is a strength area for LaMarques, his throwing mechanics and footwork remain consistent whether he sets up in the pocket or on the run. This ups his accuracy with throws made of sharp precision. Very good vision, timing and ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
A strong armed QB, able to hit in any area of the field. He can fire it into tight windows of space of zone coverage or open things up with his vertical passing game.
RELEASE:
Very sound throwing mechanics, a high release which comes across over the top with a fully extended arm motion. Very good footwork prior to set up, good spacing and balance.
THROW ON RUN:
LaMarques plays at his best while on the go. Very good vision downfield while attacking the defense at every level.
FOOTWORK:
Displays very good athleticism on the field, able to do just about anything. Good burst of speed into the secondary with a quick first step.
POISE:
This is an area that can’t be taught and LaMarques has it. Good control of his offensive unit while leading them downfield. He’s a confident QB who trusts in his abilities. Not easily fazed by the noise around him.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He’s skilled at moving around in the backfield, able to create space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
Works well through his throwing progressions, from primary targets to secondary outlets. An intelligent QB who understands the game.
TOUCH:
His deep passes include tight trajectory with just enough air underneath. Able to soft toss the ball over coverage at the intermediate range.
