SIZE:
Landen has excellent size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6'3" 215 lbs. He’s a pure pocket passer, able to sit in the pocket with a tall platform and excellent vision. A strong running QB, who can pick up tough yards in a short down situation. Throws with a high release point, adding height to his delivery.
ACCURACY:
This is an area of strength for Landen. His throws are in-line with his receivers with good timing and ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
Very good range on his throws, able to get it up and over coverage, and can squeeze into tight areas of space within the secondary.
RELEASE:
Landen's a left handed passer with very good throwing technique. An over the top passer with a highly extended arm release.
THROW ON RUN:
Landen's most comfortable within the pocket but does show solid footwork to the outside. Good body rotation as he squares up to his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
Displays good lateral movement while creating additional space for himself. Can work to add quickness in step on his drop backs. Does a nice job setting up with good balance and stride.
POISE:
Landen’s very calm under pressure, showing good patience. A confident QB who trusts in his abilities.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He’s got a good read on defensive pressure, able to get the ball off quickly.
DECISION MAKING:
An intelligent QB who’s able to locate his best option receiver. A quick hitting QB who works well through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Landen’s able to create a soft release on his throws. Tight trajectory at longer distances.
