SIZE:
Landry has very good size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6’0” 185 lbs. Works from the shotgun set up, getting out of the box in a hurry. Excellent mobility within the pocket, able to draw the defense in with his play action set.
ACCURACY:
His throws include perfect trajectory, getting the ball to receivers in a hurry. He puts it in for his receivers to make a play on it, with good ball location. Picks up on his receivers with good anticipation and timing of their routes.Loses a bit of accuracy at long range.
ARM STRENGTH:
Very good arm strength on deep patterns and high velocity throws at the short and intermediate range. Gets the ball to his receivers in a hurry. Losses a bit of strength on deeper passes.
RELEASE:
He throws the ball with an over the top delivery and a three quarter delivery. He's able to get the ball to his receivers in a hurry at short and intermediate range. Increased acceleration throughout his follow through. Very good footwork prior to his set up.
THROW ON RUN:
This is where Landry is most dangerous. Excellent vision downfield with the ability to locate a potential target, proper body rotation upon release.
FOOTWORK:
Displays excellent mobility within the pocket, moving quickly to avoid traffic while creating space for himself.
POISE:
He works well within his offensive unit, using all of his receivers. Shows very good patience in the pocket while waiting for a play to develop.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Landry has a very good feel for defensive pressure and reacts quickly while maintaining his focus on the play.
DECISION MAKING:
A rhythmic passer, working quickly out of the set, with play action and quick hitters. Does a great job selling the play, then delivering a strike into the secondary. Sometimes throws into coverage.
TOUCH:
Able to make the right adjustments on the angle and delivery of his passes at the short and intermediate range. Can work to improve the trajectory of his deep passes.
