SIZE:
Landyn has excellent size for a 2023 Dual Threat QB at 6’3” 201 lbs. A versatile QB who plays both sides of the field. He’s a tall presence in the pocket, able to oversee the entire field for possible targets. A strong running QB’s who takes on would-be tacklers. Throws with an over the top delivery, adding more height to the ball’s trajectory.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers. Giving them an opportunity to make
a play on the ball. Good anticipation of the routes along with proper ball placement. Would like to see a tighter trajectory of the ball at longer distances.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws are made with high velocity, getting to his receivers in a hurry. Demonstrates the ability to extend the field with a solid vertical passing game.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a three quarter extension. A compact delivery which comes from many different angles. Well balanced stride on his dropbacks.
THROW ON RUN:
Landyn's a super athletic QB who displays very good quickness in step getting to the outside. He works well through his rotation as he squares up with his target.
FOOTWORK:
For a QB of his size, he's very mobile with breakaway speed. Very difficult to contain within the pocket. He’s a strong running QB who demonstrates bursts of speed. Runs through the defense as if they were stationary. Runs a 4.53/40.
POISE:
Good awareness of incoming pressure, able to work within the space around him. He’s a confident QB who plays well above the level of competition.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good agility within the pocket, able to step up or move laterally when space is limited.
DECISION MAKING:
An intelligent QB who works well through his progressions, primary to secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
Delivers a catchable ball with a soft release when needed. Can work to tighten up on the trajectory of his delivery at longer distances.
