Luqman has good size for a 2028 Dual Threat QB at 5'10" 150 lbs. He’s able to see the entire field, standing in the pocket with a tall platform. Sound throwing mechanics which lead to accuracy in delivery.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, displaying a tight spiral and catchable ball. Whether in the pocket or on the go, throwing consistency remains.
ARM STRENGTH:
Has the ability to make throws with high velocity, getting the ball to his receivers in a hurry. He can make long throws with ease, extending defensive coverage.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a fully extended arm-motion. High release point.
THROW ON RUN:
Luqman works to the outside with good speed and quickness as he sets up for delivery. Acceleration in step as he leads to the outside. While lining-up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
Very agile within the pocket, able to move in all directions as he works to create added space for himself. Even stride and balance on his drop backs and setups.
POISE:
Confident in his abilities as a QB, displaying good patience while waiting for his receivers break.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He's focused on the play, not distracted by the noise around him. Does a nice job creating space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
Able to assess the defense and strike on quick hitting plays with his primary target. Works well through his progressions, primary to secondary outlets.
