SIZE:
Madden has very good size for a 2026 Dual Threat QB at 6'0" 170 lbs. This QB has that "it" factor. He's very confident in his abilities. Able to lead his team downfield while attacking the defense with throws made of laser-like precision. Throws with a high release point, adding extra height to his passes.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with sharp precision, able to pick apart a defense which gets caught sleeping. Good timing and anticipation of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Able to hit in all areas of the field. Madden shows the ability to stretch the field with his vertical throws or can fire it into the secondary with high velocity.
RELEASE:
Excellent throwing mechanics, able to keep a consistent motion, allowing for more accurate passing. He throws with an over the top delivery and fully extended arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Get this QB on the run and it spells trouble for the defense. Madden is a playmaker on the field. Give him time and he'll make you pay.
FOOTWORK:
Displays good athleticism, capable of serving as a dual threat when needed. He’s got good quickness and speed. Sets up nicely in the pocket with proper spacing and rhythm.
POISE:
A proven winner who leads by example. Confident QB who trusts in his abilities as a leader. Good patience while waiting for a play to develop.
DECISION MAKING:
Very good at working through his progressions, going from his primary targets on down to his secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
Able to take something off the velocity of his throws to create a softer touch. Does an excellent job working the ball in between zone coverage.
