SIZE:
Major has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5'11" 170 lbs. A playmaker on the field, able to improvise while on the go. A tough running QB who takes on would-be tacklers with speed and quickness.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, with good location and timing. Able to maintain the accuracy of his throws while on the run. Works well to follow his receivers in stride.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to make all the throws required of him. Shows good distance and trajectory on his deep passes. A quick release and greater velocity on his throws at the short and intermediate range.
RELEASE:
His throws include an over the top delivery which comes from way back. A fully extended arm motion for added momentum, giving long range potential.
THROW ON RUN:
This is an area in which Major excels. He’s a pure Dual Threat who’s most dangerous while on the run. Able to go with the pass play or change things up by taking the ball and going the distance.
FOOTWORK:
Major is very elusive out in the open field. Displays bursts of speed and breakaway ability while getting through the secondary.
POISE:
Attacks the defense with a controlled aggressiveness. Not fazed by noise around him. Very confident in his abilities as a Dual Threat QB.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Major's very difficult to contain within the pocket because of his elusiveness. Nice work escaping incoming pressure, creating open space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
A quick thinking QB who's able to assess the play situation. Works well through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Good touch on the deep pass routes and also works to develop a softer touch at intermediate and short range.
