Scouting Report

SIZE:
Marco has excellent size for a 2023 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 215 lbs. He has a strong built, not easily able to take down, very good durability. An athletic QB who’s a play maker on the field. Will develop into top tier collegiate-type size.
ACCURACY:
His throws show sharp precision, hitting his receivers while in stride. His throws include a tight spiral, getting to his receivers in a hurry. Good timing and anticipation of receivers routes. Losses a bit of accuracy at long range.
ARM STRENGTH:
Throws with a rocket of an arm. He’s able to fire it into tight windows of space within the secondary with high velocity throws. Able to extend the field with bombs downfield. Would like to see him tighten up the trajectory at long range.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. He does a nice job adjusting the angles of his delivery when in tight spaces.
THROW ON RUN:
Marco's an athletic QB who can get to the outside in a hurry. He’s a passer first, choosing to run as a last resort. Shows very good patience and calm while on the run.
FOOTWORK:
Good speed and quickness while on the run. Can serve as a running QB in short yard situations. Good spacing and balance on his setups. Can work on his footwork on dropbacks.
POISE:
Very confident in his abilities as a QB, a strong leader on the field. He’s not easily distracted by the pressure around him. Remains focused and determined to complete the play.
DECISION MAKING:
Marco wastes very little time getting the ball to his receivers. Decisive with his throws, showing good judgment and ball placement.
TOUCH:
Able to add touch to his vertical throws. Also does a nice job reducing the velocity of his throws, creating a softer release at the short and intermediate range.
