SIZE:
Marco has very good size for a 2020 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 195 lbs. A tall platform, able to survey the entire field. He plays with strong confidence in his game. Excellent arm strength and good vision downfield.
ACCURACY:
Marco’s throws are in-line with his receivers, they come across with high velocity and precision. Very good instincts as he displays good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
He fires the ball with a flick of his wrist, getting the ball out in a hurry. High velocity throws that get to his receivers in a hurry. Strong vertical passing game, allows for things to open up elsewhere.
RELEASE:
Marco throws with an over the top delivery that comes across in a hurry. Able to generate increased momentum upon release.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who can be quite dangerous on the run. He shows excellent vision with the ability to work through his progressions while locating a target.
FOOTWORK:
Very good footwork on his drop backs and set ups. Capable to serving as a running QB in certain play situations.
POISE:
A very confident QB who can control the flow of the game with his playmaking abilities. He shows good patience in the backfield as he waits for his receivers to break on their routes.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Does a nice job working around traffic, creating additional space for himself. He’s very agile, able to swing in either direction. Good read of the defensive pressure.
DECISION MAKING:
Marco’s able to work through his progressions, going from his primary targets down to his secondary outlets. An intelligent QB who does a nice job finding opportunities downfield.
TOUCH:
Displays the ability to make the right adjustments to the velocity of his throws, creating a softer release.
