Maddox has good size for a 2028 Pro Style QB at 5"10" 170 lbs. He shows good vision downfield as he’s able to create space for himself opening up additional passing lanes for himself. A true competitor on the field, playing above the level of competition. A playmaker with the ability to improvise.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, adding a tight spiral upon release. Displays good timing and ball placement as he leads his receivers in stride.
ARM STRENGTH:
Maddox delivers the ball with high velocity at short and intermediate range. Able to extend the field with throws made over defensive coverage.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery made with full extension. Able to generate momentum all the way through his delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Good footwork and mobility as he gets to the outside. He’s able to square his body up with his intended target as he releases the ball with strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
Quick steps on his dropbacks, He demonstrates very good speed out in the open field.
POISE:
This QB has that "it" factor. With more game experience, Maddox's confidence will continue to grow. A leader on the field.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility and movement in and around the pocket. Able to maintain his focus while working his way through traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s able to use the entire field as he hits his targets with decisive throws that get there in a hurry.
TOUCH:
He does a nice job taking something off the ball, adding a softer release.
