SIZE:
Mekhi has very good size for a 2025 Dual Threat QB at 5'10" 145 lbs. A very durable QB with lower body strength. A strong running QB who takes on would be tacklers. Most comfortable in the pocket with good vision and range.
ACCURACY:
He does a nice job getting the ball to his receivers. His throws are on target with good placement, allowing for the receiver to make a play on it. Loses a bit of accuracy at long range.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws are make with high velocity, but can also take something off for a softer delivery when needed. Dangerous vertical passing game.
RELEASE:
An over the top passer who has an over the top delivery with a high release point. Able to give added height on his throws.
THROW ON RUN:
Good quickness getting to the outside, while maintaining his focus downfield. Would like to see him put together the proper steps prior to set up.
FOOTWORK:
Above average speed with good elusiveness and mobility. He can work to improve on his footwork with the pocket, creating a more fluid motion.
POISE:
Displays good pateince in the pocket as he waits for his receivers' breaks. Will continue to develop as he works on his craft.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good agility within the pocket, able to break away from pressure. Would like to see a quicker first step out of the box.
DECISION MAKING:
Mekhi does a nice job picking up on his best option receiver. He'll continiue to improve on his game working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Displays soft release at short and intermediate range. Can work to improve on the trajectory of his deep passes.
