SIZE:
Micah has excellent size for a 2023 Pro Style at 6’3” 201 lbs. He stands tall in the pocket showing good patience and durability. Throws with an over the top delivery, adding height to his release.
ACCURACY:
This QB is right on the mark with his throws. Sharp precision throws that get to his receivers in a hurry. Able to lead his receivers with good anticipation and timing.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to fire it in with high velocity at short/intermediate range, while showing good distance delivering bombs downfield. He does a great job making the proper adjustments to the velocity of his throws, adding a softer touch when the situation calls for it.
RELEASE:
Throws with an over the top delivery, able to get good extension on his release. Shows good footwork prior to set up as well as a consistent arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Micah shows good vision while getting outside the pocket. Able to locate his targets with good rotation and directional swing as he squares up.
FOOTWORK:
Very good footwork of the dropbacks as well as his set ups. Not considered a dual threat but can serve as a runner with good quickness at 4.87/40 speed.
POISE:
Able to pick up on defensive pressure, creating added space for himself. Very calm under pressure able to maintain his focus downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Shows good agility in and around the pocket, able to locate weaknesses within the defense, delivering soft tosses in and over zone coverage.
DECISION MAKING:
Micah's a very intelligent QB, able to hit on big opportunity plays. He does a great job finding the soft spots within the defense, and delivering the ball with excellent location.
TOUCH:
Abel to adjust the velocity of his delivery for added touch. Throws made with tight trajectory at long range.
