SIZE:
Michael has excellent size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 202 lbs. Displays excellent vision as a result of his tall platform upon delivery. Shows good lateral movement. Should be able to add bulk to his frame over the next few years prior to entering the collegiate level.
ACCURACY:
Michael throws a perfect touch pass, able to hit in all areas of the field. He throws a very catchable ball, one made with a tight spiral. Showing good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can hit his receivers in all areas of the field, showing good strength in arm. Strong delivery at the short and intermediate range and throws made with good trajectory vertically down the field.
RELEASE:
Throws the ball with an over the top delivery and fully extended arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Shows very good quickness getting to the outside as he surveys the field. He’s able to rotate his body towards his target and releases the ball with strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
He shows solid footwork on his dropbacks as well as prior to setups. Not considered a Dual Threat but can pick up on short yardage situations.
POISE
This is an area of strength for Michael. He's extremely calm under pressure, maintaining his composure while in play mode.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good at picking up on the defensive pressure while making space for himself within the pocket. Able to step up in the pocket, or roll to either side as he surveys the field for potential targets.
DECISION MAKING:
Displays good patience as he waits for the play to develop. He’s able to pick a defense apart with his soft release passes that get just over zone coverage or in between tight areas of space.
TOUCH:
This is a major area of strength for Michael. He’s able to make plays within the secondary that are made with a soft release and good trajectory. Has a knack for finding gaps within the secondary coverage.
