SIZE:
Michael has very good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6’1” 200 lbs. Very dangerous out in the open field, seeking out big plays downfield. An athletic QB who can hurt a defense in the air or on the ground.
ACCURACY:
He gives his receivers the ability to make a play on the ball. His throws are made with a tight spiral, making for a very catchable ball. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Very consistent with his delivery, adding to his accuracy. Threw for a 78% completion rate this past season.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is not an issue for Michael, high velocity throws get to his receivers in a hurry. The defense is left with minimal time to react. He can fire the ball into tight windows of space or let it fly over defensive coverage.
RELEASE:
Michael throws with an over the top delivery. A fully extended arm motion, while getting the ball across quickly. Strong foward momentum on his follow through.
THROW ON RUN:
Very athletic QB who can be quite dangerous out on the outside. He can shift gears in a hurry. Displays excellent vision downfield while on the run.
FOOTWORK:
Very difficult to contain within the pocket while being elusive out in the open field. His steps are sharp and his movement is fluid.
POISE:
Extremely confident in his abilities as a QB. He controls the pace of a game and can turn it up at any moment, a playmaker.
DECISION MAKING:
Very decisive with his throws downfield, wasting very little time getting the ball off. Displays a calm aggressiveness while attacking the defense. Takes chances downfield when he sees an opportunity, trusting in his receivers.
TOUCH:
He does a great job adjusting the velocity of his delivery. Can take something off on a fade route or fire it in between defenders. Able to add a softer touch when needed.
