Scouting Report

Nicholas has excellent size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6’4” 195 lbs. He works the entire backfield, with roll outs in either direction. Shows good vision as he surveys the field, making passes that include a high release. Should be able to add more bulk to his frame over the next few years for college ready size.
When he sets up for delivery, he’s right on the mark. Good anticipation of his receivers routes. Throws made in-line with his receivers with a 67% completion rate.
Strong throws made at the short and intermediate range. Solid vertical passing game with long throws made downfield. Can work to add to his arm strength with a fully extended arm motion.
Nicholas throws the ball with a short compact delivery at close range, getting the ball off in a hurry. Very good footwork on his drop backs and also prior to set up.
This is an area strength for Nicholas. He uses the entire field, getting to the outside quickly, displaying good vision and ability to follow his receivers routes. Solid body rotation and feet placement prior to delivery.
Very good movement in either direction. Displays good agility as he works to avoid traffic while creating space for himself. Can work to add speed and quickness in step.
Shows good patience as he waits for the play to develop with also the ability to improvise. With more game experience, Nicholas will gain more confidence in his abilities as a QB.
Good awareness of pressure and the space around him. He’s perfected the roll out, able to hit at both ends. A tall presence in the backfield with good vision.
While on the go, he's able to zone in on his best option receiver. He a quick hitting QB who wastes very little time connecting with his target.
Does a nice job adding a soft touch to his passes made at intermediate and long range.
