Nick has good size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 182 lbs. A versitle QB who's able to transition effortlessly from a pocket passer to a dual threat. Runs his offense under center with a quick first step out of the box.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, with tight spiral and rotation. Good ball placement with a a soft delivery in between coverage.
ARM STRENGTH
Very good arm strength, able to reach all areas of the field with high velocity. Doesn’t lose much while on the run. Able to squeeze the ball in tight windows of space, while extending the field with long range passes.
RELEASE:
His throws are made with an over the top, fully extended arm motion. Very sound throwing mechanics, adding consistency to his game. Skilled at adjusting his arm motion, contact delivery at short range, fully extended at longer distances.
THROW ON RUN
Displays added quickness and speed getting to the outside. Good mobility in either direction with the abiliyt to pass or run. Very good body rotation and squares up with his target.
FOOTWORK:
Nick shows very good footwork in the pocket with balanced stride on his dropbacks. Very active in the pocket, displays good speed and quickness out in the open field.
POISE:
Maintains his focus while executing the play. Will continue to add to his game with more game experience at the varsity level.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very comfortable within the pocket, standing tall in the pocket while surveying the field or can take it to the outside. He does a great job picking up on his targets while on the go.
DECISION MAKING:
A quick hitting QB who picks up on his initial reads. Works well through his progressions, primary to secondary outlets.
TOUCH
Delivers the ball with tight trajectory on his deep passes with just enough air underneath the ball. Skilled at adjusting the the velocity of his delivery for added touch.
