SIZE:
Nick has excellent size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 6’5” 200 lbs. He stands in the pocket with a tall platform, able to survey the entire field. A tall and lengthy QB who’ll be able to add more bulk to his frame over the next year. High release point gives him added height to his throws.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, displays sharp passing made at the short and intermediate range. Good anticipation and timing with his receivers over the middle. Good ball placement. Remains consistent while on the run.
ARM STRENGTH:
Nick has the advantage of size, which gives him an extended arm motion and longer throws. This adds to his vertical passing game. Passing made within the secondary include high velocity throws.
RELEASE:
Throws with a classic over the top delivery with a high release point. Has worked to improve on his footing prior to set up for increased accuracy.
THROW ON RUN:
Nick's an athletic QB who’s able to get to the outside with fluid movement. He shows good forward momentum upon delivery as he fires the ball toward his intended targets.
FOOTWORK:
A long stride running QB, able to pick up yardage in a hurry. Good mobility within the pocket, creating added space.
POISE:
He’s a playmaker on the field. Able to improvise while on the go. Shows good patience in the backfield, creating a mental clock within.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Works well with his offensive unit. Able to execute the play from beginning to end. Seeks out big play opportunities downfield.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a nice job using all of his weapons, going from his primary target on down to secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
Very good touch on the deeper routes, displaying solid trajectory with just enough air underneath.
