SIZE:
Peter has excellent size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6'4" 205 lbs. A strong throwing QB who's able to use the entire field. Stands in the pocket with a tall platform, able to put up on opportunities downfield. He works the entire backfield with good laterally movement. Throws with a high release point, adding extra lift to the ball.
ACCURACY:
When he sets up for delivery, he’s right on the mark. Good anticipation of his receivers routes, hitting them while in stride. Displays a solid vertical passing game, without losing anything on accuracy. Does a nice job squaring up with his receivers while planting his feet in the same direction.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is where Peter excels as a QB, strength in arm. He gets good height and distance on his throws. With his long arm extension, he’s able to get the ball over defensive coverage. Strong throws made at the short and intermediate range.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery, along with an arm motion that’s fully extended. His release point is raised above, giving his throws extra height.
THROW ON RUN:
A very athletic QB for his size. He uses the entire field well by getting to the outside quickly, displaying good vision and ability to follow his receivers routes. Good body rotation and feet placement as he squares up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
Very good movement in either direction in the backfield. He shows good agility as he works to avoid traffic while creating space for himself.
POISE:
Shows good patience as he waits for the play to develop. He’s not easily distracted by the pressure around him, while staying focused on the play.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of defensive pressure and well as the space around him. A tall presence in the backfield with good vision.
DECISION MAKING:
Peter's a quick hitting QB, who wastes very little time connected with his target. Solid initial reads of coverage. Will continue to perfect his craft, working through his progressions with more game experience at the varsity level.
TOUCH:
This is another area of skill for Peter, he does a nice job adding a soft touch to his passes made at intermediate and long range.
