Scouting Report

Peyton has excellent size for a 2019 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 202 lbs. He works the entire backfield, with good laterally movement as he works to create added space for himself. Shows good vision as he surveys the field, making passes that include a high release. Can tear apart a defense with his methodical passing, exposing their weaknesses.
This is a major strength area for Peyton. He threw at a 66% completion rate this past season and it shows why on film. Throws made with excellent ball location, allowing for only his receivers to make a play on it. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes, hitting them while in stride.
He gets good height and distance on his throws. With his long arm extension, he’s able to get the ball over defensive coverage. Strong throws made at the short and intermediate range. Fires darts into the secondary in between tight windows of space.
Peyton throws with an over the top delivery, along with an arm motion that’s fully extended. His release point is raised above, giving his throws extra lift. A rhythmic passer who's very consistent on his delivery.
He uses the entire field well by getting to the outside quickly, displaying good vision and ability to follow his receivers routes. Displays excellent body rotation and feet placement as he squares up with his receivers. Strong forward momentum release.
Very good movement in either direction in the backfield. He shows good agility as he works to avoid traffic while creating space for himself. A quick first step in either direction.
Demonstrates good patience as he waits for the play to develop. He’s not easily distracted by the pressure around him, while staying focused on the play.
Good awareness of defensive pressure and well as the space around him. He’s a quick hitting QB who does an excellent job zeroing in on his target. A tall presence in the backfield with good vision.
A very intelligent QB with a running clock. He's able to pick up on his initial reads as he locates his best option receivers, progressing down to his secondary outlets when needed. He a quick hitting QB, who wastes very little time connected with his target.
This is an area of skill for Peyton, he does a nice job added a soft touch to his passes made at the intermediate and long range. Excellent trajectory on his deep throws, allowing for minimal drag.
