SIZE:
Rashawn has excellent size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 210 lbs. He stands out from the other players on the field with size. A durable QB with lower body strength. A tall presence in the backfield, surveying the field with excellent vision. A tough running QB who takes on would-be tacklers.
ACCURACY:
His throws are very catchable with good placement. He puts it in for his receivers to make a play on it. Sound throwing mechanics which are consistent at every level.
ARM STRENGTH:
Rashawn makes his throws seem so effortless. High velocity throws made at short/intermediate range. Dangerous vertical passing game with throws made over coverage. Gets the ball to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
The ball gets out in a hurry with a quick release. Strong throws made with increased acceleration. Works well to get his feet set prior to delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
He’s most comfortable within the pocket but shows good athleticism while out in the open field. Excellent vision downfield with the ability to locate a potential target.
FOOTWORK:
For a QB of his size, Rashawn displays very good footwork. A quick first step getting out of the box. Good spacing with his steps with a side release. Elusive on the run with the ability to side step would-be tacklers.
POISE:
He works well with his offensive unit, using all of his receivers. Good patience in the pocket while waiting for a play to develop.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good feel of incoming pressure and how to react. Works well in and out of traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
I was impressed in his ability to work through his progressions. This is his best QB attribute. Shows good patience and vision downfield.
TOUCH:
Displays tight trajectory on his deep passes with just enough air underneath. Can work to improve on his short and intermediate game.
