SIZE:
Reese has good size for a 2023 QB at 6'1" 201 lbs. He throws the ball with a high release point, giving more height on delivery. Works well in the pocket with good agility for greater visibility. He's deadly on the run, able to open up the entire field.
ACCURACY:
This QB's right on the mark with throws made of sharp precision. His throws are in-line with his receivers routes with excellent ball placement. Good anticipation of his receivers routes. Solid footing prior to set up. A sharp shooter when given time and space.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to make all of the required throws with good velocity. A very dangerous vertical passing game, able to stretch the field with deep passes over the secondary. Tight trajectory on throws made at greater distances.
RELEASE:
Reese has an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion, generating increased momentum for a fully energized release. He does a nice job adjusting the angle of his delivery when space around him is limited.
THROW ON RUN:
A proven pocket passer who shows good athleticism while getting to the outside. Does an excellent job squaring up with his receivers with proper body rotation.
FOOTWORK:
He’s a long stride running QB who can pick up yards in a hurry. Shows good mobility and balance while on the run. Runs a 4.6/40.
POISE:
Reese does a great job leading his offensive unit. He controls the pace of a game by his ability to pick apart a defense. A manger on the field who shows very good patience as he works through play execution.Does a nice job avoiding incoming pressure, able to set up in the pocket, while creating space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
This is an area of strength for Reese, he understands the game. Able to assess the situation on the field and locate his best option receivers. Very decisive with his throws.
TOUCH:
He’s able to take off something on his short and intermediate throws, creating a softer touch when needed. Tight trajectory on his throws made at long range.
