SIZE:
Robinson has very good size for a 2023 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 185 lbs. He fires darts throughout the field, picking up on big play opportunities with quick reads. Throws the ball with a high release point, adding lift on delivery. Works well in the pocket with very good mobility for greater visibility.
ACCURACY:
A precision passer. His throws are in-line with his receivers with excellent ball placement. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Very accurate at longer distances with throws made of tight trajectory.
ARM STRENGTH:
Strong velocity throws made at short and intermediate range. His vertical game is solid, able to stretch the field with deep passes over the secondary. Very consistent throwing mechanics which adds to his accuracy.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. He does a nice job adjusting the angle of his delivery when space is limited.
THROW ON RUN:
Robinson displays good athleticism while getting to the outside. Able to square up with his receivers, while hitting his targets on the go. Strong forward momentum off his release.
FOOTWORK:
He's a long stride running QB who can pick up yardage in a hurry. For his size, shows good mobility and balance while on the run. Very good footwork on his dropbacks and in-pocket lateral movement.
POISE:
A manager of the game and a proven winner. Great instincts while on the go.He does a nice job avoiding incoming pressure, able to set up in the pocket, while creating space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
This is an area of strength for Robinson, works well through his progressions, going from his primary to secondary outlets. Very decisive with his throws.
TOUCH:
Does a nice job creating a soft touch at short & intermediate range. He’s able to take off something on his short and intermediate throws, Tight trajectory on his long range throws.
