Roland has very good size for a 2021 Dual Threat QB at 6’1” 193 lbs. A legit dual threat QB who's a playmaker on the field. Very agile in the pocket, working his way in and around traffic. Smooth transfer from pocket passer to dual threat.
ACCURACY:
Sharp throws made at all angles. He shows good anticipation of his receivers routes. Makes completions with very good ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
Displays excellent range, able to hit on high velocity throws. Strong momentum throughout his arm motion and acceleration into his release.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Strong forward momentum. Very good footwork on his drop backs.
THROW ON RUN:
This is an area of strength for Roland. He works best outside of the pocket, able to seek out his receivers, Very difficult to stop out in the open field.
FOOTWORK:
Displays very good speed, able to break free from would-be tacklers, with a burst of speed. He’s displays the ability to become elusive out in the open field.
POISE:
He shows confidence in his abilities as a Dual Threat QB, able to take advantage of what the defense gives him. Able to take over a game with his play.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Roland has a good feel for the space around him. He’s difficult to contain within the pocket, showing good agility and elusiveness.
DECISION MAKING:
A quick hitting QB who makes quick reads and delivers with decisive throws.
TOUCH:
Does a nice job making adjustment to the velocity of his throws, creating a softer touch when needed. Tight trajectory at long range.
