SIZE:
Ryan has excellent size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 6’4” 190 lbs. He’s a tall presence in the pocket, able to oversee the entire field. A long stride runner who picks up chunks of yardage in a hurry. Throws with a fully extended delivery with a high release point.
ACCURACY:
Displays sharp precision passing at the short and intermediate range along with tight trajectory on deeper routes. Loses a bit of accuracy while on the run.
ARM STRENGTH:
Ryan has plenty of arm strength, able to hit in all areas of the field. High velocity throws are made at short range and can air it out at longer distances. Solid vertical passing game while extending the field.
RELEASE:
Ryan has an over the top delivery with full extension. Generates increased momentum throughout his arm motion. High release point, adding lift to his delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
For a QB of his size, Ryan displays good mobility getting to the outside. Able to reach all areas of the field with arm strength. Can work to tighten up on his body rotation as he squares up with his intended target.
FOOTWORK:
An athletic QB who displays good mobility and agility. He’s a long stride runner who can get across the field quickly.
POISE:
Good awareness of the space around him, maneuvering through traffic while buying himself time.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Tall platform, seeking receiver options with good vision downfield. Picks up on pressure, while moving laterally in each direction.
DECISION MAKING:
Works well through his progressions, from primary to secondary outlets. He’s a quick hitting QB who’s very decisive with his throws.
TOUCH:
He’s got a sweet touch pass that gets over the top with just enough air. Nice work adjusting the velocity of his throws.
