SIZE:
Ryan has very good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 205 lbs. Plays well above the level of competition. He's a playmaker, able to do just about anything he wants. He stands tall in the pocket, surveying the field for potential targets. High release point, adding height to his delivery.
ACCURACY:
He can make any throw which include sharp precision. Does a great job leading his receivers, adding a soft touch on his release. His throws are in-line with his receivers with a tight spiral and zip on the ball. Perfect ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throwing motion is very fluid. Effortless throws made throughout the field. He gets the ball out in a hurry, leaving the defense very little time to react. A very dangerous vertical passing game.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a high release point. The ball is held back with full extension, increased momentum. Excellent footwork on his drop backs and set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
Ryan's an athletic QB with very good lateral movement. He gets off the block quickly while assessing the passing situation downfield. Very good rotation of body, squaring up to target.
FOOTWORK:
A quick first step, showing good balance and rhythm on his dropbacks. He can serve as a Dual Threat when needed, displaying good elusiveness and quickness.
POISE:
Very confident in his abilities as a QB. He trusts his instincts, able to keep plays alive while showing off his creativity.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Displays good patience in the backfield, able to sit back and wait for the play to develop. Able to pick up defensive pressure, able to create space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
An intelligent QB, picking up on defensive coverage while seeking out high percentage opportunities. Gets the ball out in a hurry with minimal delay.
TOUCH:
His throws are made with a soft touch, whether its over defensive coverage or in between zone coverage, Able to hit his targets with tight trajectory and adjustment to his velocity for a softer delivery.
