Ryan has good size for a 2028 Dual Threat QB at 5'7" 147 lbs. This QB understands the game. He attacks the defense at every level as he works methodically while picking them apart. Works well through his progressions.
ACCURACY:
This is an area of strength for Ryan. His throws are in-line with his receivers with excellent timing and ball placement. He can pick apart a defense with his ability to spot an opening within zone coverage.
ARM STRENGTH:
Very impressed with his arm strength, he can sling the rock into tight coverage with high velocity releases or take it deep over the top, extending the field with his vertical game.
RELEASE:
Ryan has perfect throwing technique which leads to a consistent delivery. An over the top passer with a fully extended arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
He’s quick to the outside, leading with ball in hand as he seeks out potential targets. Solid body rotation as he squares up to his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
Displays good lateral movement while creating additional space for himself. Sets up evenly with good balance and stride on his dropbacks.
POISE:
This is another area of strength. He’s very calm under pressure, showing good patience. A confident QB who trusts in his abilities.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good feel on incoming pressure, able to get the ball off quickly.
DECISION MAKING:
His accuracy is helped by his ability to locate his best option receiver, making the right call and hitting the mark quickly. Very good at working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
A strong armed QB who can take something off the velocity of his throws for a softer toss.
