Sam has good size for a 2030 Dual Threat QB at 5'6" 120 lbs. This young gun QB displays good mobility along with a very consistent delivery. Throws with a high release point, giving his ball added height.
ACCURACY:
Fundamentally sound with his throwing mechanics. His throws are right on the mark with good ball placement. Allows for limited variations on his arm motion. Very good at picking up the timing and anticipation of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Sam can turn it up with increased acceleration throughout his delivery. His throws are made with high velocity at short and intermediate range.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Good footwork, getting his feet down prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN
Sam's an athletic QB who works with fluid movement to the outside. He maintains the same consistency and velocity on his throws while on the go.
FOOTWORK:
Well balanced stride on his drop backs and set ups. Can work to add speed and quickness in step.
POISE:
Very calm demeanor as he locks in on his target.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Shows good patience, waiting for his receivers' breaks.
DECISION MAKING:
With more game experience, Sam will add to his QB knowledge by picking up on defensive reads. Working through his progressions will be another area of continuous improvement.
TOUCH:
Able to adjust the velocity of his delivery for added touch. With more arm strength will come a tighter trajectory at long range.
