SIZE:
Sean has excellent size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6'3" 227 lbs. A very durable QB in the pocket with very good lower body strength. A quick hitting QB who picks up on his initial reads. A strong running QB who takes on would-be tacklers. A playmaker on the field who can improvise on the go.
ACCURACY:
His throws are right on the mark, hitting his receivers while in stride. Able to work within tight areas of space, making the proper adjustments needed to his delivery. Very good ball placement and touch.
ARM STRENGTH:
Sean can hit in all areas of the field with strong throws. His short and intermediate throws include high velocity passes piercing through the coverage. Able to stretch the defense with his vertical game, creating more opportunities within his short game.
RELEASE:
Very good throwing technique which is well balanced and consistent. He throws with an over the top, fully extended arm motion. Able to generate momentum throughout his delivery, creating increased velocity. Gets the ball out in a hurry. Does a nice job adjusting the angle of his delivery when needed.
THROW ON RUN:
Sean's able to work inside as a pocket passer or get to the outside to deliver a strike. Displays very good mobility and quickness on the go while surveying the field.
FOOTWORK:
For his size, Sean's a quick footed QB who can work the entire backfield, creating added space for himself.
POISE:
He’s very confident in his abilities as a QB and displays a calm attitude while in pressured situations.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of defensive pressure, able to set up in the pocket or break out to create added space for himself. Very agile QB, who does a nice job while in traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
Sean works the entire field, seeking out big play opportunities. He’s got many weapons at his disposable and can be quite deadly while on the go. A playmaker on the field.
TOUCH:
This is a major plus to his game. A very good touch pass QB, able to ease of the velocity of his throws, while creating a softer release. Skilled at getting the ball up and over or in between zone coverage.
