SIZE:
Solomon has good size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6'1" 170 lbs. Very impressed with his film. He’s a quick hitting QB who gets the ball out in a hurry. Able to survey the field while in the pocket.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, showing good ball placement. Works well with his receivers as he waits patiently for their breaks. Good anticipation and timing. Threw for a 55% completion rate which will only continue to improve.
ARM STRENGTH:
Throws darts throughout the field. Displays a strong release on his short and intermediate routes. Good zip on the ball, including a tight spiral. He can spread the field with his deeper passes including tight trajectory.
RELEASE:
Solomon throws with a full extension, the ball comes from over the top with a side release. He gets the ball out in a hurry, which a fluid throwing motion.
THROW ON RUN:
He does a good job getting to the outside and making a play downfield. Solid body rotation and forward momentum upon release.
FOOTWORK:
Solomon shows very good movement in all directions. Not classified as a Dual Threat but can be dangerous out in the open field because of his athleticism.
POISE:
In full control of the offense, has a take charge mentality when on the field. Not easily distracted.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Solomon has a very good sense of the space around him. He’s able to get around traffic while still focusing on the play.
DECISION MAKING:
This is major strength. He's an intelligent QB, with quick reads and decisive throws. No hesitation on his delivery while picking apart a defense.
TOUCH:
He does a nice job with his deep passes, adding nice touch and tight trajectory. Able to adjust the velocity of his delivery for a softer delivery.
