SIZE:
Tagg has good size for a 2025 Dual Threat QB at 6'0” 180 lbs. He’s a playmaker on the field, definitely has the 'It" factor. Sits tall in the backfield, able to oversee the entire field. Shows good patience as he waits for the play to develop. He throws with an over the top delivery, adding height to his delivery.
ACCURACY:
This is a major strength to Tagg's game. Its fun to watch him pick apart a defense with sharp precision passing that gets through the secondary in a hurry. He’s skilled with the ability to see the entire field, opening up his options to all targets. Threw for a 76% comp rate last year.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws get to his receivers in a hurry, passes made with high velocity. Able to zip the ball into tight windows of space within the secondary. His vertical game is legit with deep passes extending over defensive coverage.
RELEASE:
Tagg throws with an over the top delivery. His arm motion starts way back with increased momentum, allowing for the ball to get off quickly.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who can get to the outside with good mobility and speed. Displays very good vision downfield, as well as rotation.
FOOTWORK:
Shows excellent mobility within the backfield with his dropbacks and set ups.
POISE:
Tagg gets locked in the zone while picking apart a defense. Very calm under pressure, not fazed by the noise around him. A confident QB who’s super competitive and gives his all for the team.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He has a good sense for the space around him. Able to feel the incoming pressure. He’s most comfortable within the pocket, able to see the entire field.
DECISION MAKING:
This is a major area of strength for Tagg. Able to work through his progressions, going from his primary to secondary outlets. Among the top '25 QB's in the 7v7 circuit in the nation.
TOUCH:
Nice touch in all areas of the field, as he’s able to take something off the ball when needed.
